Question: Why do members of the royal family call edward's offspring 'the elephant children' when talking in private?

I believe I read somewhere that Princess Margaret used to refer to the kind of ears that Prince Charles has as "Windsor Flappers ", and tried to get the Queen to have Prince Charles' ears surgically "pinned back ". It is highly likely that some of the children in the Windsor family will inherit the "Windsor Flappers " like Charles did, and that the new generation of children no longer call the big ears in the family genes by Margaret's name for them, but refer to their cousins who have the ears as The Elephant Children when talking in private. No, the ears are not the reason the children are never seen, Edward's children are still very small and are being kept out of public notice for their privacy and safety.
