Question: Does anybody believe the dalai-lama is a fraud?
(Posted by: Not Kira on 2010-06-23 15:46:44)
I read several articles that have evidence that contradicts what Tenzin Gyatso (the dalai- lama) leads people to believe, I don't want to get to much into it but I suggest for you to search it for yourself. but does anybody think he is a big fake who wants his throne back? I want to make it clear that I'm not pro- china I think that Tibet should govern itself free from the dalai- lama & the chinese rule |

And I'm positive I know just what kind of "proof " is presented, and by whom. . . . . . You have no clue . . . . . If you WANTED to have a clue you might start with the man himself before you challenge what someone says about him . . . . but that would require thought instead of mindless obedience to the truly biased. how sick ARE you people? |

You can find and read articles claiming whatever you want, but if you want to find the truth you have to dig deeper. There's a lot of slander going on against the Dalai Lama, especially from political reasons from the side of China and some Western hardline Marxists, but also from Christians that can't stand his popularity and see him as a rival. There's also a small group of Tibetans from a very conservative and close-minded sect that have spread a lot of smearing in the media for about a year, with the help of naïve Western followers, but I believe that hate campaign is all but finished. I can't tell you what you should think, but I can tell you what I think: after having met him several times, studied his teachings for years, hearing him talking to Tibetans as well as Westerners, monks as well as common people, Buddhists as well as non-Buddhists, studying the history of Buddhism, Tibet and the Dalai Lamas, following the discussions between his followers and his adversaries for many years, I am very clear in my opinion: I am totally convinced of his sincerity and wisdom, and can hardly think of a more honest, compassionate and deeply spiritual master alive in the world today (although he's of course not the only one, just the most famous one). |
